I am thankful to have been blessed with such a wonderful father. I am glad I had the opportunity to share in his joy and laughter. He wasn't always a winner but he was a fighter, he never gave up. He strived for nothing but the best. He was a dreamer but not just a dreamer, he made his dreams come true. When I think about the phrase "Faith can move mountains" I think of him, he was a believer. He taught me more than my brain could retain and he made sure I never forgot. He was strict but loving, he knew how to balance out the two. My dad was incredible, he was the best. He was admired by many.

A father as defined in the dictionary is a male parent, a person who has originated or established something, a man who exercises paternal care over other person, a paternal protector or provider, any male ancestor; one of the leading men in a city or town. Anyone can be a father but if you put all these meanings together it describes Victor Antonio Young (snr.), my dad which I am proud to say was my father and a father to many

My father was taken in a way that you would say is cruel. He didn't deserve to be taken the way he was. It hurts to know that man kind can be so wicked and vindictive. God has a plan for all of us. Everything in life happens for a reason. Only God knows that reason. Sometimes good things happen and sometimes bad. It is what it is, God doesn't give us more than we can handle, just believe in him. It is hard to say but it is reality "Life goes on" the Victor Young we knew wouldn't want us to be sad, lets remember him for the way he always was, spirited, happy, and cheerful. There was never a dull moment when he was around, he always had a smile on his face. My dad will die only if we forget what he has taught us.I am sure he has touched our lives. He lives on in all of us. Rest in peace Victor Antonio Young (Snr.) gone but not forgotten, always in our hearts.

My husband Victor A. Young was one in a million, you should all be proud to have known him. He was full of life, was vigorous, always smiling and eager to help all those in need of help, he was very kind hearted, never refusing to help anyone.

He loved to share his life with the children and sometimes couples who had problems, he would tell them about us, especially our children, for instance when he was working at Dynamic Sound, he called Cecil Warren to come and bail him out of jail because he had gotten into some fight. He told them his name was Osbourne Chung, when Cecil came to the jail there was no Victor Young, he did not tell him he gave an alias, he saw Cecil leaving he shouted "Boss, see me here!!!". They all loved him there, wherever he went he was loved. Our children loved to hear these he would tell them over and over .

My sister and I used to work for Derrick Harriot he brought stuff from Dynamics for Derrick. My sister had long hair so he liked her immediately, but watching the both of us in time he started to talk to me more, we eventually got engaged then he said "me no want no woman who can't have children". He use to buy macaback fish, make fish tea every week. I got pregnant. Francine was born in May, we got married on September 22,1974, 5 days after my birthday.

He and his friend Pugo went to look for this girl, it was late she lived upstairs. Pugo showed him the window and told him to climb up. He did not know the girl so when he got up there he was surprised he saw some fat legs he didn't know which one he asked Pugo. Then he told him to just touch one he did, she started to scream he jumped down and landed into a sink, they ran.

He was working on the ship he loved naseberry, so he saw boxes of kiwi, he didn't hnow it was kiwi at the time he took a whole box put it in his cabin. When he tasted it, he said "lawd a nuh naseberry this".
